Global Economic & Social Policies

Is there a distinctive European approach to democracy assistance? If so, what is it characterized by? Is it really different from U.S. approach? Who are the key actors: EU institutions, Member States, or NGOs? Should they be more co-ordinated in democracy work? What is the balance of European interests in different regions, and where does democracy fit to other priorities of the EU and its Member States? THIS CONFERENCE IS BY INVITATION ONLY.
