The following information is available for this conference.
Conference aims: Both Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, and the SRSG, Soren Jessen Petersen, have made the economy one of their top priorities; this conference aims to help build a consensus on an economic development plan for Kosovo. Means: By providing a forum for: ·Frank speaking on how to reduce the duplication that has affected economic policy-making in the past;·Discussion on how to ensure that policy initiatives are better co-ordinated. Producing some clear proposals that can be considered by the PISG and by UNMIK for developing a common direction on policies for Kosovo’s economic development. Format: This is an off the record and unofficial dialogue. Everyone can contribute to the discussion in the formal sessions. Informal dialogue outside the conference room is also critical to the discussions, a key feature of Wilton Park events. Interpretation to/from English/Albanian is available in the conference room, and for the informal dialogue. Speakers’ names are given alphabetically when they co-speak.
